Scouting Report
Assets As far as his bat goes, the question is, "What can't he
do?" His smooth swing and long reach allow him to smash the ball
to all fields. He salivates with runners in scoring position and drives
them home with Ruthian efficiency. And he does it all in the clutch,
too. In the field, he has a great arm: strong and accurate.
Flaws Imagine how unstoppable he'd be if he cut down on his strikeouts
and put more of those balls in play. Aside from that, the only things
he lacks are an arm and great base-running skills.
Career potential Sometime in the next 15 years or so, the name Manuel
Aristides Ramirez will be etched in a plaque at Cooperstown.
